Mandira Bedi remembers late husband Raj Kaushal: “4 years since you left us”

Mandira Bedi is beaming with love and pride as she celebrates a very special moment: five years since her daughter Tara came into her life.
On Monday, the actress took to social media to share her joy, marking the fifth anniversary of Tara’s adoption with a touching video.

The clip showed happy memories of Tara; smiling, posing for pictures, enjoying meals at restaurants, and spending time with family. It opened with a quiet and powerful moment of Tara sitting peacefully, chanting “Om Shanti Shanti.”

Mandira wrote an emotional note along with the video: “Five years ago, a little tornado of sunshine twirled into our lives… and we’ve been smiling (and chasing her) ever since! Thank you, Tara, for coming into our lives Talu Palu , you’re all heart, all sparkle, and ALL ours. and we love you more than you can imagine!!”

Tara became a part of Mandira’s family in July 2020 when she was four years old. Mandira and her late husband, Raj Kaushal, had started the adoption process three years before that. It was a long and emotional journey for the family.

Mandira has spoken in the past about how their son, Veer, took some time to adjust to having a little sister, but love eventually brought them closer.
Mandira first introduced Tara to the world on October 25, 2020, through a family photo shared online. In that post, she wrote, “She has come to us like a blessing from above. Our little girl, Tara. Four years and a bit, with eyes that sparkle like stars. Sister to her Vir. Welcoming her home with open arms and pure love. Grateful, thankful. Blessed. Tara Bedi Kaushal.”
Tragedy struck the family the following year when Raj Kaushal passed away suddenly from a heart attack on June 30, 2021. Since then, Mandira has spoken openly about how she and her children remember Raj every single day and hold on to the memories they shared.
